The Construction Site

Good News:

These are only the ones I hear about. Evidently others are satified with the return on their investment or I would surely be receiving complaints from them.

March 1997: Contractor gets job from advertisement on this site.

11/18/96: Contractor gets job from advertisement on this site.

Quote: from the person awarding the contract, "I did a key word search and The Construction Site was on the first page up."

Due to the unpredictability of where a listing may appear on a search engine, the above doesn't always happen. However, it did happen this time and the contractor was awarded the contract. It pays to advertise on The Construction Site
9/23/96: One of our advertisers sold a BIG order of his product this past week. The export sale was a direct result of his Web Page being on this site. * See footnote Since the sale was to a contractor in another country, both the buyer and seller saved a bundle on long distance calls, by using e-mail for most of their communications. Calls made to other countries during regular business hours aren't cheap.

* Footnote: I'm withholding the names of both parties for the following reasons.

1. The seller of the goods would have many of his competitors wanting to advertise on this site, not that I care, but to his good fortune and foresight, he dominates his particular category on this site at this time.

His vision toward the future of this medium, and having his Web Page on a directory related to his business paid off in big dividends. While his competitors were surfing the Net, probably looking for FREE advertising, he was willing to pay for some good service and exposure and reaped the benefits of his foresight.

2. The buyer would probably be bombarded with solicitations for future business from some of the competitors of our advertiser.
